Formentera is one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean. The beaches are gorgeous. The water is so clear, that you can even see the bottom. There is an enchanting town, with boutiques, restaurants and a laid-back lifestyle.
Formentera is only accessible by boat. You can take a fast ferry, departing every half hour from the port of Ibiza. It takes 30 minutes, which makes it perfect for a day trip!
What to do in Formentera?
Explore the island, by either renting a bicycle, vespa or a quad, if you want to go further.
Visit downtown, where there are boutiques, restaurants, and charming Spanish houses.
Stop at the Miradouro for stunning views of the island, and check out the famous Light Houses. We went to Faro de la Mola, standing at 120 meters high. Here the views from the cliffs are amazing!
Go beach hopping: Playa Ses Illetes, Llevant, Es Arenals, and Playa Migjornone are some of the best beaches in Formentera.
Have dinner on the beach, and drink sangria while listening to a good music!
Head back to Ibiza. We left at 8:00pm and we had the chance to catch the sunset from the boat.
Formentera truly is wonderful place to relax and enjoy life!
