We left early in the morning from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe to experience a full day Safari, a Game Drive in the world famous Chobe National Park, and another River Safari on the Chobe River.
It took an hour to drive from Victoria Falls, to the border of Botswana. We were directed by our guides, on how to proceed with the immigration. After the immigration procedures, we met with our guide to start the Safari game drive.
They need to check if you are allowed to get into the country, and if you have paid for the correct visa. In our case, we had UniVisa.

We spent the entire morning, looking for animals, and were very excited to see them. The first animals to show up were the beautiful impalas, crocodiles and birds. After a while we saw African elephants, giraffes, a leopard turtle and dung beetles among other animals.
We took a break, and had lunch before the Chobe River Safari. From the river, we experienced the park, and the animals, from another view. We got up close to hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffalos and impalas. Chobe National Park has the highest concentration of elephants in Africa, and over 450 bird species.
A safari is a great experience, that everyone should try, at least once in a lifetime. We are already dreaming of going back to Africa!
