Visiting Disney World & Universal Studios in Orlando

We have been to Orlando a few times. There are many ways to get there, by airplane, bus or car.  We went by car. it took us almost 3 hours to get there from Miami.

We spent fews days in the city in order to visit, Disney World and Universal Studios Theme Parks.

The First day we went to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. There is a ferry and a mono-rail, which, connects them together. The Magic Kingdom is more for kids, where you will see the Sleeping Beauty Castle, and the famous Cartoon Parade, and other attractions. Not to mention the famous rides: Magic Mountain and It’s a Small World.

Epcot is more for adults. Here you can have drinks, and do a food tour around the world. There are many venues theme as countries all around the park, which is centered on a lake.   There are also several rides which have futuristic themes.

On the second day we went to Universal Studios. It is only 20 minutes way from Disney World.  We visited The Simpsons at Springfield, The Wizard of Harry Potter, where we tried the famous Butter Beer, and we went on the famous roller coaster ride named ROCK IT.

Tips:

Buy the tickets online to avoid lines.

Avoid December it is the most crowded time to visit the parks.

For some reason a lot of people decide to go to the parks in the morning.   We went to the parks twice. First in the morning, it was packed. Then we returned after 12:00pm and it was less crowded.

Wear comfortable shoes and clothes.

If you don’t want to spend money with food, bring your own.  It is very expensive to eat inside the parks.  You can always keep your stuff in the lockers, before going on a ride.

Never forget where you parked your car haha.
